How come nobody is questioning the X-Keyscore map?

Many of the locations situated on the NSA’s poorly drawn map, of X-Keyscore’s 150 sites and 700 servers, can be classed as legitimate NSA facilities, in the sense they have been given a mandate to carry out cyber spying by those state’s closely aligned to US power. Deconstructing PRISM: The uses and extent of PRISM and its implications

0001324343452As Edward Snowden tries to escape the long reach of US justice, the full extent of the PRISM program and its intended purpose seems to have become lost in a barrage of US propaganda. The US government and their PR agencies are currently doing whatever it takes to persuade popular opinion that PRISM is for legitimate counterterrorism purposes, vital to US security. While the US government continues to pull no punches in both silencing and prosecuting Snowden, the full scope of the PRISM program has become lost. Lies Lies Lies, the CIA always Lies

For the past few days there has been a rumour floating around that whistleblower Edward Snowden, is actually a double agent working for the Chinese security services.The rumour first came to public attention by former CIA agent Robert Baer, when he told CNN that Snowden “looks like his under some sort of Chinese control.” Like most political pundits, called upon by the US media to discuss US foreign policy, Baer is connected the security establishment, makes money from his analyses and therefore is not to be trusted to give an honest and accurate security analyses. Just like Fox News political pundit, good old Iran-Contra Oliver North, Robert Baer is not to be trusted, or at least no more than Lord Haw-Haw.

Oh the Hypocrisy! The US loses all legitimacy for Chinese Cyber espionage accusations

Following this week’s revelations of the NSA’s Prism program, by whistle-blower Edward Snowden and further revelations that the US is hacking China, the Chinese media have been quick to point out the hypocrisy of the US government, and well for good reason.

Why should you be worried about PRISM?

edward-snowdenLast week’s shocking revelations about the NSA’s surveillance and data-gathering activities, known as Prism, which was exposed by the Guardian, has highlighted the vast extent that the US dominates and monitors cyberspace. Despite a few political pundits supporting the program, Prism has sparked widespread outcry over what has been viewed, as an infringement on civil liberties and a violation of both domestic and international law.
