Indian Reporter conducts live TV report from the shoulders of a recently rescued flood victim

indianfloodreportReporting from the frontline of the recent Indian floods, Indian television reporter for News Express Narayan Pargaien chose not to get his feet wet.

Perfectly understandable, all hardened reporters when mucking it out in a disaster zone wants to avoid getting soaking wet themselves.

However, Mr Pargarien has found himself at the centre of controversy when it emerged he had conducted his “live” report on the shoulders of a victim of the floods, who had only just been rescued.

Delivery men catch child falling from 5th floor window

Yesterday morning a little Girl fell from a 4th floor apartment, in Shuiyang Village, Ninshai County, China and was luckily caught by 5 delivery men. The 2.5 year old toddler Qigi fell from the apartment, fortunately at the same time the delivery men where reaching out to catch her.

Wang Yaping China’s new poster girl for the “Chinese Dream,” and second Chinese women in space recently conducted China’s first live space class. Broadcast live on CCTV, China’s Central Television, to an audience of 330 primary and middle school students at a Beijing high school, Wang demonstrated numerous space experiments.

Satya Pal Dang and his wife Vimla

Veteran leader of the Indian communist party Satya Pal Dang has died at the age of 92, on Saturday in Amritsar. Born in 1920 in Gujranwala Pakistan, Dang married Vimla, the leader of the CPI’s women’s wing in 1952, she died in 2009. Both Deng and Vimla became well known and respected for their rule in India’s communist party and their opposition to terrorism in the Punjab.   Read the rest of this entry »

Lies Lies Lies, the CIA always Lies

For the past few days there has been a rumour floating around that whistleblower Edward Snowden, is actually a double agent working for the Chinese security services.The rumour first came to public attention by former CIA agent Robert Baer, when he told CNN that Snowden “looks like his under some sort of Chinese control.” Like most political pundits, called upon by the US media to discuss US foreign policy, Baer is connected the security establishment, makes money from his analyses and therefore is not to be trusted to give an honest and accurate security analyses. Just like Fox News political pundit, good old Iran-Contra Oliver North, Robert Baer is not to be trusted, or at least no more than Lord Haw-Haw.

Oh the Hypocrisy! The US loses all legitimacy for Chinese Cyber espionage accusations

Following this week’s revelations of the NSA’s Prism program, by whistle-blower Edward Snowden and further revelations that the US is hacking China, the Chinese media have been quick to point out the hypocrisy of the US government, and well for good reason.

Why should you be worried about PRISM?

edward-snowdenLast week’s shocking revelations about the NSA’s surveillance and data-gathering activities, known as Prism, which was exposed by the Guardian, has highlighted the vast extent that the US dominates and monitors cyberspace. Despite a few political pundits supporting the program, Prism has sparked widespread outcry over what has been viewed, as an infringement on civil liberties and a violation of both domestic and international law.
